Fekete Máté
He is a visual artist, photographer and VFX specialist. He has been working with moving images, film post-production and visual effects for nearly twenty years — a field in which, by a strange paradox, he does his job well when his work is not visible. As an artist, he explores the intersections between contemporary digital imagery, generative technologies and historical photographic processes.
He is primarily interested in situations where different visual systems do not cancel each other out, but rather rewrite and reinterpret one another. For him, technology is not merely a tool, but an active participant in the creation of the image. He combines this way of thinking with manual processes rooted in materials and physical processes.
